MUSICFEST ANNOUNCES NEW EVENT: MUSICFEST JAM

The Peterborough Little Lake Musicfest is excited to announce we will be holding a competition for one lucky band to win a paid spot at the Musicfest in 2012.  The Musicfest receives over 1,000 submissions each year.  This is a great opportunity to see all of the talent that Peterborough and the surrounding area has to offer and let the people pick which band they’d like to see at the Musicfest in 2012. 

Each band will fill out an application, submit a link to a YOUTUBE video of their band performing, and pay a $50 application fee in order to register for Musicfest Jam. 

All videos will be uploaded onto the Musicfest YouTube channel in October and the more views a video gets the more it will stand out to the judges.  The bands will be judged on musicality, professionalism and stage presence. 

Five lucky bands will be selected to perform at The Venue on November 19^th, 2011.  The band that receives the most votes at The Venue on November 19^th will be performing on Wednesday July 11^th, 2012 at the Little Lake Musicfest.  The second place band will win the opportunity to open for the first place band at the Musicfest on July 11^th,.
